Car Cruise

Forgot to post these pictures.

On June 21, Kulpmont had a car cruise. It was pretty neat. There were old cars, and new cars. The muscle cars were the coolest, especially the ones from the 70s. The real muscle cars. There were a few new ones too. And some pickups with the big tires. Anyone could participate. They went from one end of town, turned around, and went back. Just like cruisin'. I remember cruising Independence Street in Shamokin when I was in high school. We'd go to Knoebels on a Friday or Saturday night, then head to Shamokin to see who was out and about. We thought it was cool.

On the birding front: Spotted a Green Heron and an Eastern Kingbird in the swampy area across the road. Not lifers for me, but added them to my PA list.

May your next bird be a lifer!
